This policy was drafted as a general starting point based on how this website currently operates, referencing the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). It isn’t legal advice. The small business exemption under the Privacy Act is being phased out from December 2026, after which having a compliant, publicly available privacy policy will be mandatory for effectively all businesses. Before publishing this, it’s worth having a solicitor (or a service like Sprintlaw or Legal123) review and tailor it to your business, especially once client contracts, invoicing, or additional tools are added to how Citedd operates.
